Steinbach is known far-and-wide for its Annual Pioneer Days Parade that kicks off the Pioneer Days weekend of festivities in Steinbach, celebrating the community’s roots and rich heritage. With an average of 120 unique entries per year and the always-popular candy and other free giveaways, thousands of people attend the parade each year.

The Taste of Steinbach annual event is an initiative of the Steinbach Chamber of Commerce that offers a unique dining experience, bringing the community together to enjoy good company and the finest local cuisine the region has to offer.

The Business Excellence Awards is our annual gala dedicated to shining a spotlight on the achievements, innovation, and leadership within our local economy. Every year, this event brings our community together to celebrate the hard work and dedication of homegrown businesses, non-profits, and visionary individuals who drive Steinbach forward. Awards are presented across distinct categories—including Small, Medium, and Large Business of the Year, Non-Profit Excellence, the Rising Star Award for emerging leaders, and a Legacy Award honouring long-term community pillars.

Steinbach Burger Days is our annual culinary event, dedicated to driving community engagement and championing the local food scene. This highly anticipated event challenges local chefs to craft exclusive signature burgers, drawing thousands of eager food lovers to explore eateries across the region. It’s a powerful boost for our economy, keeping thousands of dollars right here in the community while inviting diners to try new flavours and cast their votes for coveted titles like Best Tasting, Most Creative, and Best Presentation.

The Steinbach Chamber Challenge is our youth entrepreneurship competition, designed to inspire and support the next generation of business leaders in Southeast Manitoba. Modeled after the popular television show Dragon’s Den, this exciting annual event invites middle and high school students under the age of 18 to pitch their innovative business ideas, products, or services to a live audience and a panel of prominent local business leaders.
